
Jennifer Quijada
Biography:
Jennifer graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago with a Bachelors in Kinesiology – Movement Science. She continued her education at Dominican University and graduated with a Bachelors in Medical Science. Soon after graduation, she competed in her first NPC show as a Figure competitor and became Nationally Qualified taking 3rd place in her class. After this milestone, it left her yearning to learn more in the wellness industry. She moved to Miami, Florida after the competition to pursue a career in wellness. There she received certifications in Personal Training through National Academy of Sports Medicine, Animal Flow, Onnit Durability, Strong First Kettlebell, Precision Nutrition and Ki-Hara Thai Mashiatsu (mashing).
She learned many modalities of fitness and explored different tools to integrate into her training programs such as the kettlebell, steel mace, and clubbell. Her teaching style is unconventional which allows her clients to tap into an inner physical and mental strength. She strongly practices and integrates restoration work such as joint-by-joint mobility and mashing in her programs for optimal performance. She also focuses on helping her clients achieve the proper mindset and nutrition on their wellness journey.
With the proper mindset and nutrition, clients have allowed healthy habits to become a natural part of their routine. This allowed themselves to grow and adapt to physical change more efficiently and continuously. Jennifer is back in Chicago and ready to integrate this method into your life.
